My Lucky Day!

Photo: "Double Rainbow in a Storm Over Mt. Lassen" by Jim Tomsich

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I'm as happy as a leprechaun with a new box of Lucky Charms. I received notification from Jim Wisneski, Editor of Soft Whispers Magazine, that my story, Moira of St. Brennan's Land, was accepted for publication. It will be included in his Un-luck of the Irish anthology which is available today. To read my submission, and those written by other outstanding authors, pop on over to Soft Whispers Magazine. Scroll down the side bar and click the link for UnLuck of the Irish Anthology. Let's give Jim a great big shout out and a pitcher of green beer for publishing my story.

Wishing you four-leaf clovers.
Wishing you a full pot of gol
d at the end of the rainbow.
Wishing, you all, the luckiest day of your life.

Drinks are on me.

Bartender...a round for the house!

[The camera pans back to show the wildly crowded pub patrons cheering and hoisting mugs of beer]

Nessa: Looks like you got the link to work. I went to Soft Whispers this morning and that led me to the on-line mag. It was a little tricky.

TechnoBabe: Thanks for the support. I'm not great but, I'll keep working on it.

Tony: Happy St. Pat's Day and travels to you too.

Brian: Happy Green Day to you!

Jill: Join the party any time you can. Definitely read the story after the kids are in bed...it's an adult story.

Baino: TY! Do yo celebrate St. Pat's Day in Australia?

DUTA: Hi! Thanks.

Congratulations Ronda! Love the story! But even better was your bio, just perfect. :)

Megan: YEAH!

To All: As Nessa wrote, the link isn't working and I won't be able to fix it until I get home. If you Google Soft Whispers, you'll get a hit.

Ronda that's awesome! CONGRATULATIONS of the tallest order are deserved. I will pop by later and have a good read.

And your list rocks. Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Deanna: Thank you very much. It was 3 am. I had to work all day the next day and read, at the last minute when I went to submit, that Jim wanted a bio. That was all I had time for.

Felicitas: You rock to, sistah. Thanks for the award.

WHOOHOO! That's wonderful, Ronda!
I am so proud of you. Congratulations!

Hey! If you'd ever like some custom made imagery for your stories, do think of me. It would be an honour to draw something up for you.

Ok, now let me go check out the story... ;)

Haha, that's what you get for being a hunk!
Loved your bio as well.

Christina: Thank you for your generous offer of artwork for my writing. I WILL call on you one day. Yes, that's what you get for being, not just a hunk but, an arrogant one. What made me think of the story idea was, I live an hour and a half away from Chico State, one the top ten party schools in the country. St. Patrick's Day is always a huge problem. Always lots of fights, drinking and shennanigans.

Stacy: Thank you. You must be feeling better. I'm starting to see you post and get around more. Keep up the good healing.

JJ: Thank you, uber shopper!

You go girl, congrats on this achievement. Where you find the time is beyond me. I hope the link works and if not I will google it.

I hope you had a great St Paddy's day.

I am finally getting off this up all night schedule and have been finally falling asleep before 2am. I am so thankful. I think that somehow I am blanking out the pain in my shoulder. I burnt my arm and barely felt it. It is gross looking and was bleeding earlier and still never felt it. Maybe the nerves are dead. Anything that takes the pain away is great in my books.

Oh and the gadget is an iPhone. Just trying to figure out how to use it is taking forever. When granddaughter comes back here on Sunday then maybe she will help me with it. Although I can play the games on it pretty well, but it is a lot different then my other phones. The Crackberry is a lot easier.

God bless.

Ronda:

I read your story over at Soft Whispers and went back to today to reread it. -- Enjoyed it all the way thought. Carl Jung would love you- great archetype character development.

Now that's the way you do it, lassie!! I'm so very thrilled for you.

Sherry: I'm glad you are getting a better sleeping schedule. Now you're on my hours. Sorry about your arm. You may have a little nerve damage and then again, often times after surgery, it can take easily up to a year for sensation to return. Thank you and good luck learning your iPhone.

Joanny: Why, thank you SO much! I really appreciate the feedback especially as I really don't know much about character development yet and am feeling my way along.

Dave: I hope to see your haikus published in April.

JGH: Thanks!

Drainy: Are you back from New Orleans? Thank you for all your encouragement.
