It's Time to Go Beyond Time and Space, Reya

In a couple of weeks, I'll be going to Vail, Colorado to spend a week with my guru, Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi. In the states, people often have a knee jerk reaction to the word "guru." They assume you belong to a cult and are quite suspect. But "guru" simply means teacher. If I wanted to learn to dance, I would go to the best dance instructor I could find. If I wanted to paint, I would seek out a skilled painter. So it is with spiritual studies.

And if I am considered to belong to a cult, then I want it known that I belong to a cult that believes in total and unconditional love. That is the driving principle of our work and study and I don't see how that could ever possibly do any harm. A guru will never turn their back on you, even if you do so to them. Gurus also have a guru. I don't want to come across as an expert...because I am not. I have only been studying this path for a couple of years. I am just relating what I have learned.

A guru is a Master, as are we all. A Master is one who has broken the bonds of slavery to low frequency actions, thoughts, energy, vibration and emotions. They no longer resist the idea of a limitless existence. A guru does not control or brainwash you. They have just worked hard and are further up the karmic spiral than most of us. Jesus is an example of an Ascended Master (one who is so evolved, he can choose to move to other realms).

A Master helps students get through work that is often advanced, confusing and difficult--just like any other educational system. They can do this from any place on, or in the case of an Ascended Master, off the planet. So it was that I was awakened Wednesday morning by a sharp, psychic rap on the ol' noggin serving notice that school was already in session. As Reya so astutely noted, school is always in session so what is the difference?

Well the difference is that a guru works with your energetic field preparing your mind and body for the work you are to do. Because a Master is constantly in touch with the subtle realms, they can quickly open and clear gateways for you. When they come to you, you know it. There is no mistaking that they are working with you. Maa usually comes to me in my sleep...but not always. Even though Vail is a couple of weeks away, we are already working further into the 5th Dimension than we have gone before. The 5th Dimension is:

*The unlimited possibilities happening now within parallel universes.
*The door to the Source of the Universe as ourselves.
*The exquisite dimension of Spirit

It is here right now, vibrating at a higher vibratory frequency. We will be continuing our awareness and experience of living in this creative, subtle, graceful, gentle realm of unlimited freedom.

Many people are experiencing chaos and travails right now. There are reasons for this that I will explore in later posts but, for now, just know that Mother Earth is changing and there are new energies evolving due to her changes. The poles are shifting, Ley Lines are changing, the Earth's chakras (energy centers) and electromagnetic fields are different and therefore exerting different life forces on the planet. It is hard for us to keep up and, whether we consciously realize this or not, our bodies and minds do at unconscious and subconscious levels. And unless we have someone, like a Master, help and explain things to us, it can be very overwhelming.

Apparently, my mystical journey beyond the fabric of space and time, as most of us know it, has already begun. Talk about more bang for your buck!

Yea, you can be our guru in teaching us all these things. Sometimes you can feel the pain that the earth is suffering and you can also feel the joy that she has, but I think that we need to feel. And we would be very proud to have you be our teacher. How great is that, to have you as our teacher.

I truly hope you will have a blessed time in Vail and learn much so you can come back and teach us. I would like to try and learn how to bring rain to our land. I know the land is suffering do to this drought and the fires, but at the same time I realize that this is what nature intends for the land to feel.

Yes, we need a teacher. I pray that you will be ours.

God bless.

"exquisite dimension of spirit"...maybe that's it...I'm not sure but I do understand what Mother Earth is going through. Does this do to aide us in a major way?

When I saw the post title, I smiled. I'm still smiling, Ronda.

So happy for you to be part of a group that resonates with your heart of hearts.

Funny, isn't it, how suspicious people are about faith. OK, not so funny since the energy of the spirit can (and often does) drive people nuts.

You're not nuts, though, you are a worthy vessel for all that pure light. I salute you. Bravo!!

i got caught at the line "gurus always have gurus." not that i acclaim to be a guru, but we all need someone teaching us, pushing us (gently) to take that next step in our walk. even when you are a guru, you need a guru. how true.

excited for your trip and hope that great things come of it for your spiritual walk.

This post sounds like you are preparing in your mind and heart for the journey and for the lessons you will learn in Vail and after that too. Your posts show you are human but have found a peace and acceptance. Hugs to you.

Sherry: I am more than happy to share what I learn. If we all share what we know from all of the different worlds of Spirit and non-Spirit, the bigger view we will have. Yes, there is a lot going on with the Earth, but it is an exciting (if overwhelming time) to witness. We have to take care of her but, at the same time she is a big girl and does a lot to take care of herself. I try to send healing energy back to her as often as I can. Blessings.

Subby: Yes, it is helping us in a major way and I will explain more as I have time. It is a great time to exist on the planet and we are so connected to the universe.

Reya: I am so glad you caught the title and I smiled when I put it up. There is more to this but the post was already to long to finish. Maybe next Tues. I can have the rest up. But, you are so right about how the energy of Spirit stirs people up...like one is better than the other. When I get the psychic hammer of doom because I say such things, I just smile.

Brian: I was kind of amazed to finally get the point about gurus having gurus too. When I saw mine (she's about 55 years old) sitting next to hers (he's in his mid-90s) looking at him with total adoration and still learning. I got it. It is supposed to go on and on. And I think that even when he leaves this planet, she will still be his student. Sometimes the pushes are gentle somtimes not so. Gurus don't mince words when they have a point to make about something you are not getting:-)

TechnoBabe: I am definitely preparing for they Vail trip. The week's work is intense. Gurus can be quite the spiritual flogmasters but they have a way of balancing it with fun, laughter, joking and dancing. At least mine does. She's not your ususal sterotypical guru.

Candie: Hi! You are back. You are a free spirit and walk your on truth. I love it. You are so right! Everyone has something to teach. XXOO.

It must be so wonderful for you to have your guru and be able to visit her.

I have not been fortunate enough to find my spiritual master, my guru, but I hope that one day I'll find that person who can teach me and direct me. It's a long process and even the journey of finding that guru is a lesson.

I hope you have a lovely time in Vail and I'm sure you will, secure in the shelter of your guru.

Aum shanti,
Jai

Ronda,

I'm so excited for you! I don't claim to know much, if anything, about the subject of guru's, but I'm hoping you find exactly what you need to enlighten your journey. And I'm looking forward to all the wonderful things you'll learn and share. Be blessed.

Jill: I know what you mean. Sometimes I need a swift kick in the posterior to get my attention. I've met few who have more accurate aim than gurus.

Baino: Thank you. You've come a long way for one who didn't think too much of coning in the beginning. But I was out there working for your best interest. Congrats! Ohm maddy paddy.

Jai: One day you will know your master, of this I am sure. I was in my mid-50s before I found mine. And I wasn't really looking at the time I just kind of fell into her. Well, it seemed like that at the time anyway.

Om Jai Jai Maa

Dorraine: I have only been learning about gurus recently myself. I will be happy to share. It is always an interesting experience. Hey, maybe this was one of my secrets.

I am not wise to the way of the guru! :)

Otin: you are somewhat of a guru yourself.

Nice. I got a massage yesterday and she went to Peru for two weeks to study under a Shaman (I don't know how you spell that).

Ronda Laveen said...

Candie: Yes, my love, I know what you mean.

VE: You spelled Shaman correctly. Wow, Peru! That would be so cool. I hope you enjoyed your session.
