After Glow

Bodies press together.
Feverish. Meeting. Mashing.
Falling away. Meeting again.
Twisted and tangled together.
A tingle...rising in an, as yet,
unfulfilled promise.
Tension building.
Holding back.
Surging forward.
Over and over again.
Giving. Taking. Receiving.
Fast, abandoned acceleration ignites
a juicy, exploding orgasm.

Spent.
Nothing left.

My shopping frenzy...
over for another year.

This is my first attempt at telling a story in 55 words or less. Friday Flash 55's ringleader is g-man. Go see him on Fridays to read more or give it a try. I know it's Tuesday and not Friday but I'm not much for coloring inside the lines. I'm a rebel without a clause.

Oh, well, very good, then. I thought for a moment I might have to retrieve a glass of wine or two to read this.

I will be doing my shopping on Thursday afternoon. Not from choice, but because it's payday! Actually, I am a looking forward to observing and being a part of the scrum.

Megan: Shopping on payday is a very good reason to be out there. I like to save a few things to go out and get just because I kinda like that frenetic energy. It's exciting. Glad you enjoyed the 55 and may your shopping day climax with joy.

If I wasn't boycotting buying Christmas presents these past few months, this might actually make me want to go out and shop for some. I have to say that this has been one of the most relaxing Christmas's since I was a baby. I really recommend that everyone should join me in this "No shopping boycott if they are going to put Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving" thingy. What gifts I am giving are things that I just buy throughout the year that I found on sale. So far no one has figured out that these things were bought months ago. Even the grandkids are okay with me not buying gifts, especially since they know the guilt will soon get to me and then they will eventually get even more gifts if they wait a month or so.

So in January a shopping I will go, or at least I might if my experience would be as great as this. I do have to go grocery shopping today, Wednesday, and am not looking forward to it, but then again.....

God bless.

PS...that is a great 55, I once made a comment in less than 55 words, but you know how hard that was for me to do....sigh.

Great 55! And that's your first attempt? I can't wait to see what's next. I keep meaning to try it but...seeing how well you did might keep me away another month or so. Happy Holidays!

A very clever 55 words! Yes, it seems the shopping climax has been reached. SPENT is definitely the word of the day. (tired with an empty wallet)

Have a great holiday, Ronda!

Sherry: I didn't know about your Christmas shopping boycott. I really didn't buy much either. Just made a great 55 word story.I'm sure your grandkids will have a great time when you do set about the gifting in Jan. You made me laugh when you wrote that you once contained a comment to 55 words. Love you.

VE: Thanks. Now go cool off!

Reya: Glad you enjoyed my little spoof. Twas fun. XXOO

Santa and Otin: Merry Christmas to you too! You need a good massage when all of this is over.

JGH: You are so right...tired and spent. It will be good to kick back for a few days. Happy Holdiays to you and your family.

Don: Made ya look, huh? Glad you enjoyed. See you Monday.
