I think we love the "Rain, Man" down here. I know you all do up there too. Please pray that the rain gods continue to dance and dance for many weeks to come. May our lakes and reservoirs fill up to levels we have not seen since the last El Nino, we need every drop that they are willing to send our way.
The parched land has opened up and the wild flowers this years will be awesome. I will have to see about visiting some of those sites.
Thank you rain gods for having some fun this year, may you please have as much fun next year.
Pictures while driving, now who would do that.....
Hmmm that was my first thought you naughty girl. Driving and photographing at the same time. Wet here too, very wet, very hot, very green so I guess that's a good thing. I just wish it wouldn't rain EVERY weekend!
Jill: You know me well enough to know that I would NEVER (well, almost never) click pics while driving. I thought it looked cool too. I wish we could get at least one snow day.
I've about had it with this winter's weather too Ronda. I'm in southwest VA and we have had WAY TOO MUCH snow this year! The kids were out of school for two straight weeks AFTER their Christmas vacation, and I work from home, so I about lost my mind. Plus they've been out several days since then. They'll be going to school all summer I guess. As much as I hate the snow I keep trying to remember that all that moisture is going to bring us a gorgeous spring and summer with vibrant colors popping out all around. If only I can keep that in mind it won't seem so bad. Now, put that camera away and drive with both hands on the wheel Missy! :)
Deanna: I just keep telling myself that it will all be worth it too when the flowers bloom, the lake is full and we don't have a drought filled summer. May you find your mind after having your kids with you all those weeks on end.
Candie: you too!
Reya: Yes, this is definitely the year of extremes for the weather gods. All or nothing. Glad you like the photos.
Lettuce: Thanks.
Dorraine: This morning I thought we were going to get sun too, but it didn't last long. No rain so far...just overcast and looking like it could rain any minute. Enjoy your LOVEly day!
Ronda..I am so tired of snow that I would gladly take rain any day. I think we're getting some this morning but the birds are chriping anyways. Of course you can handle taking a pic while driving, you are that good!

Well, here in NC, we have been rain most of the year, but this morning I woke up to snow!
Ronda, pay attention to your driving!! You are wet and we are flaky!
Never say never. Human nature cannot resist to many temptations including the risky taking of pictures while driving.

Y'all stay warm and dry this weekend. Unless you're from down under, then stay cool and wet.

That photo of you in the rearview is awesome! ALTHOUGH I just know you weren't DRIVING at the time right!????
We have PLENTY of snow here but I prefer it over rain. I like snow a lot but I am starting to LONG for some spring!

The weather gods are all about the extremes, aren't they? Drought or flood, no snow or 4 feet of snow, and nothing inbetween.
Sheesh!!
Nice pics, sistah.
what a great series of snaps! excellent
Driving while snapping. You got some good photo's though. We finally have sunshine, just in time for Valentines Day. Valentine hugs, Ronda!
Eternally Distratced: Oh, you noticed.

JGH: Good point!
Mindy: I'd take a little of your snow. But, I really do mean just a little. You guys have been slammed.
It's 80 degrees in Los Angeles today-- It SHOULD be about 65. The weather across the country is CRAZY.
Safe travels,
